Random Thought of the Day - The Number "One"

I have had this blog since April. My daughter Ashley has been my faithful follower since its creation (um...okay, she encouraged me to blog and she made it all pretty) and so I dedicate this first post to her.

"One" sounds like a lonely word, or a lonely number. I mean the Three Dog Night certainly thought so.

But here is what the dictionary has to say. "One" a single entity, unit, object, or living being, but also "One" is characterized by unity; undivided, spoken with one voice. "One" is the same kind or quality.

We are all "One’s" intermixed with a bunch of other "One’s". We "One’s" have our own ideas. How do "One’s" get along?

Philippians 2:2, "Make my joy complete by being like-minded, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

"One" isn't a lonely number - it's a togetherness number - it's a family number. It’s everyone.
